Arnold Rawls has sung tenor leads in opera, oratorio, and music theater. Rawls played Dick Johnson in La Fanciulla del West (Utah Festival Opera), Bacchus in Ariadne auf Naxos (Arizona Opera), Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and Manrico in Il Trovatore (Opera Southwest), Alfredo in La Traviata (Natchez Opera Festival), and Don José in Carmen (DuPage Symphony).Arnold Rawls is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the University of Oklahoma where he earned the Doctorate of Musical Arts. He serves as Artist/Professor of Music at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where he lives with his wife Julie Rawls, Ph.D. They have two children, Graham and Madison.
